Research Fellowship:Extension and Innovation in the DNA Diagnostics and Research unit in the Metabolic Laboratory

Foreign Student Scholarship candidates must have the ability to work in an environment where both diagnostic and research is being conducted. An interest in translational research is justified. Foreign Student Scholarship Description: The study and diagnosis of (neuro) metabolic disease is the main purpose of the DNA unit at the Metabolic Laboratory of the department of clinical chemistry. The department is localized at the VU University Medical Center (VUMC). Neuroscience research is embedded in Amsterdam Campus. The-Post doc will be involved in developing new genetic tests to detect disease causing mutations in genes associated with neurometabolic disorders, disorders of white matter and the genes involved in one carbon metabolism.Foreign Student Scholarship Participants must have an interest in innovation and ideally have experience in order exome.
